Invitations

As a crafty person, I knew even before we got engaged that I would want to create my own invitations.  I loved the idea of having complete control of design, wording, and assembly.  I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so this was perfect for me!

After countless hours of researching, designing, printing, shopping, assembling, posting, and addressing, my beauties are FINALLY ready to meet our guests.  It was an incredibly time consuming process, but I could not be happier with the results!

I've had a few people ask about the cost breakdown for this project, so here is that information:

Cost Breakdown:
Black cardstock (174 sheets): $38.50
White cardstock (250 sheets): $5.48
Adhesive (6 packs): $15.90
Envelopes (100 4bar, 100 A7): $47.51
Printing: Free (used student print center)

Subtotal (without postage): $107.39 or $1.07 each
Postage: $90.20
GRAND TOTAL: $197.59 or $1.98 each

When I priced it out to buy them, I couldn't find a better deal than around $3 each (before postage), so the savings were worth it!

Here are my resources for this project:
Black Paper (PaperTrey Ink), White Cardstock (Wal-mart), Adhesive (Wal-Mart), Envelopes (Envelope Mall)
